Hi! I'm Chelsea; I'm a LMHC based in Florida.

I work solely virtual; which will be very apparent when you see my cats having no chill while in session (seriously, they can't stand when I'm not paying attention to them). I work with adult clients within a relational framework; I truly believe you are the expert of your own experience and I am someone who can help guide you to your authentic self. I utilize motivational interviewing and consider myself a harm reductionist (I have a history of working with substance users, but I think this can be applied to any behavior). I like to see behavior being shaped as our experiences (especially in childhood; so cue inner child work) and generally work within the scope of changing the narrative to widen the perspective our own experiences.

I am EMDR trained, thus tend to see trauma from a lens of belief systems. Somatic (body) experiences, I think, are pivotal for transformation. Feel like your in your head? Let's get into your body. Feel like that's too much? We can take small steps. I'm all about growth at your speed. I tend to look at things holistically, as much as I can, so mindfulness/meditation can be incorporated.

Basically, how can we get you to your values within your comfort zone with some slight, maybe directly motivated, challenging of self? Also, what are you passionate about? Because I will talk all day about any interests or belief systems or passions; trust it works well with the therapeutic process :)
